Amanda is from South Burlington, Vermont, and is a 7th generation Vermonter. Amanda has a bubbly, fun-loving personality and is very excited to share her enthusiasm for summer fun and community-building with her campers and staff this season.
Amanda is the new BTC Camp Director, where she hopes to create a fun learning environment, inspire a love of athletics, and promote creativity in all campers. She looks forward to meeting the families of BTC, and becoming part of the community. She will graduate from the University of Vermont in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Public Communications and a minor in Nutrition and Food Sciences.
Amanda has had great success working with the U-10 age group, having worked for the past 5 years as a tennis instructor at the Sports and Fitness Edge and Vermont National Country Club. She has been volunteering with the local non-profit tennis program, Kids on the Ball, for 7 years. She has traveled with them to Cuba to assist in a youth partnership tennis program. She is certified in U-10 tennis through the Professional Tennis Registry.
In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, dancing, writing, and traveling.
