Errol was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. He has been living in VT for the past 19 years
and has worked as The Director of Tennis and Marketing Manager at Windridge Tennis & Sports Camps as well as the Director of Tennis & Resort Programs at The Bridges Resort in Warren, VT. Errol is a graduate of The University of the Witwatersrand (WITS) with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Finance and Marketing.

Errol's also serves as the Director of Tennis at BTC.  You'll certainly see him on the courts during the summer.
Errol is currently on the USTA VT board to help promote and grow the game of tennis in our state and is the VT State Representative for the Professional Tennis Registry.

Errol is excited to continue growing membership and the financial health of BTC. He will be bringing his expertise and industry knowledge to ensure that BTC is one of the premier tennis & swim facilities in the state. Contact Errol with any membership related questions.


Tom Twitchell is a tennis player, high school tennis coach, college tennis coach, and independent business owner based in Burlington, Vermont. He has been playing tennis most of his life and also has a fondness for Racquetball, Squash, Pickleball, and Paddle Tennis. Tom’s family has strong ties to the tennis community. His uncle was one of the founding members of Burlington Tennis Club!

Tom was a manager in the restaurant business for many years. He has since diverted his energy to his love of “everything tennis”. Tom has fond memories of learning to swim and play tennis at BTC. He is eager to be involved in its growth and sustainability.


Amanda is from South Burlington, Vermont, and is a 7th generation Vermonter. Amanda has a bubbly, fun-loving personality and is very excited to share her enthusiasm for summer fun and community-building with her campers and staff this season.

Amanda is the new BTC Camp Director, where she hopes to create a fun learning environment, inspire a love of athletics, and promote creativity in all campers. She looks forward to meeting the families of BTC, and becoming part of the community. She will graduate from the University of Vermont in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Public Communications and a minor in Nutrition and Food Sciences.
Amanda has had great success working with the U-10 age group, having worked for the past 5 years as a tennis instructor at the Sports and Fitness Edge and Vermont National Country Club. She has been volunteering with the local non-profit tennis program, Kids on the Ball, for 7 years. She has traveled with them to Cuba to assist in a youth partnership tennis program.  She is certified in U-10 tennis through the Professional Tennis Registry.

In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, dancing, writing, and traveling.

Marisa Mulligan Cardin has been involved with competitive swimming since early childhood. She was Captain of the St. Michael’s College Women’s Swim Team, earning a 3rd place finish at NEISDA Championships in her senior year.

Marisa is currently a teacher at Rice Memorial High School. She has a wealth of experience as a teacher and coach, with swim lessons and as a swim club manager.

We are very excited that she is joining us for another season as our Head Coach!
