Letter to Members
Dear Members:
Hello! If you are like me, this year's warm winter has you thinking about summer at BTC. The club is already getting prepped for the 2008 season, and we have some great options for our members...read on!
First, we are very happy to welcome back Jeanne Hulsen as our club manager and head of tennis. Jeanne brings a wealth of knowledge and an excellent staff to the club, and we are lucky to have her. On the swimming side of things, we are pleased to welcome back head swim team coach Cora Cummings for the third year in a row. Cora did a great job bringing the BTC Barracudas to a First-place at last year's Vermont State competition, and we are looking forward to another season with her.
Enclosed in this mailing is the membership form for 2008. Please note the early discount rate that you can take advantage of right now. It is never too early to sign up for the summer.
Last year's member referral program was a great success, so we are going to do it again this year. In this program, returning members earn rewards for referrals. The reward for a swim membership is $25.00, and the reward for a pool and tennis membership is $100.00. Our bookkeeper will credit the member with the amount. If you have friends who would like to learn more about the club please have them contact our membership coordinator, Dawn Dugan, at 482-5225 or at thedugans@hotmail.com. She'll be happy to answer any questions or give prospective members a tour of the facility.
Our member email list is still a work in progress. Last year we began compiling all member email addresses so we can email newsletters, club information, and board meeting minutes. Make sure to include your current email address on your membership application.
Are you a BTC member who would like to be more active in the club? The board at BTC is looking for new members. Please contact Gene Richards at generichards@generichards3.com or Larry Wood at lwood@bfp.burlingtonfreepress.com if you are interested.
Thus far there has been a significant number of application requests for new BTC membership. Please take advantage of the early payment discount and secure your membership!
