Work Day Projects
The following is a list of workday projects. If you are interested in any of these projects and can donate time and/or supplies, please contact webmaster@burlingtontennis.com and we'll help you coordinate your efforts! Remember, all members are required to complete at least one workday project each year or donate a $45 capital improvement fee.

Our Running Maintenance Work List
- Repair walkway/deck on the paddle courts.
- Replace steps to the paddle courts.
- Add trim at top joint at clubhouse/wall
- Fix french doors on tennis patio.
- Grit paint the pool porch.
- Build a fence for the sand filters behind the pool house.
- Fix cement on corners of the pool.
- Fix cement in front of the pool pump room (area has been prepped).
- Take down the two pine trees next to the playground area.
- Take down the two pine trees next to the pool shed.
- Replace/fix basketball backboard.
- Paint tennis chainlink/fix gates
- Fix tennis posts on courts 1+2
- Fix pool floor at kids section
- Fix missing tiles at the pool
- Paint the pool house
Spring 2011 Workday Items
- Stain the playground structure
- Trim low branches on the maple tree next to the pool stairs
- Take brush to the intervale.
- Take old basketball hoop to the CSWD transfer station & replace new hoop net.
- Weed whack the path to the back board.
- Reset landscape timbers around the club house
- Weed and rake stones back into the drip line around the club house
- Draw a site map of BTC in PDF or JPG format (a good project for our architects!)
- Take pictures of BTC for the website.
- Weed gardens.
- Weed around the courts.
- Weed around pool deck.
- Paint the unpainted benches by the lower courts.
- Paint 4 square courts on the pavement next to clubhouse
- Topsoil and seed at the edges of the pavement.
- Replace cabinet doors in pool house bathrooms
- Trim back cedar hedges around the tennis courts
- Install modified concrete "shim" at Pool paving to prevent tripping
- Dig out the slide base so it is flat and install landing pads
- Runner for Club house
- Bulletin Board/White board at Entrance to replace ailing easel
- Fix the Pump room door so we can lock it!
- Trim bushes at front where b-ball paving meets the covered concrete front walk.
- Trim branches at the sides of the driveway and those hanging down from above. Trim at ends to maintain sight lines to East Terrace.The driveway is starting to feel narrow! We could also benefit from trimming of the hedge on the west side of the parking Lot.
- Trim branches at the courts.
- Fix Men's Room wall and paint
